the wedding gift came to be a vacation home off the southern coast of france. while the thought is amazing and welcome it currently runs as a boutique hotel to sustain its property and the workers who keep the place afloat. it was what the property had been maintained as when it was gifted to the new couple and so the transition was easy enough to take on.

suffers from severe migraines. it's typically a side effect of feeling one too many emotions through the day so he can regulate it when he has to but sometimes, he still ends up kind of dizzy and needing to pop a pill or two. where he can, he really wants to try to avoid relying on the medication, though. asmr therapy, massage therapy and acupunture saves.

likes to listen to music that depends upon the moods he feels. dance music is for when he's feeling sensual, ballads are for cleaning and baking and chanson are for when he's feeling particularly needy or miserable. currently, his favorite go to artists on most good days are imany, indila and maÎtre gims, and black m.

because jinyoung was adopted his korean is a little fragile; he is better at it than he pretends to be since it often times means he gets to actually listen in on people trying to speak behind his back but it's difficult. he can read and write it exceptionally well but his tongue is a little loose for the phrases so, for the most part, he sounds foreign.

has never found a fondness for new books; he always has to have someone else read a book first so it can have a true feeling to it, then he has been able to enjoy it. it is what lead to his buying the store opposite his cafe and turning it into a bookshop for used books and trade in values. connecting people to them is just a nice perk and a parlor trick to get attention on his store.

exceptional cook. jinyoung swallows recipe books almost as often as he swallows down coffee, really, and he expands his knowledge of dishes weekly. that means his cafe has experimental new baked goods once in a while as temporary specials rather than additions to a fool proof menu. it helps that all his cooking fuels good feelings in people.

does not have a valid driver's permit in korea so he likes to ride his bike wherever he can. it's a good excercise, anyway, and keeps his legs in good shape the way he likes it. with all the eating he does, he needs his ways of staying fit: yoga, dance classes and lots of bike riding everywhere around does enough with his routine martial bliss.

while english is by far his most used language most days, french is his private one. jinyoung slips into french when overcome with true emotions: anger, misery and, of course, in the middle of incredible sex. any other time, if he's rambling, he tends to be in english and what he can manage with easy going korean now.
